Dec. 3rd, 2018 05:31 pm- Loves sweets. The fancier, the better, but he does enjoy the care and tenderness of a simple homemade cake. His favorite flavor is, of course, rose. His favorite sweet ever is rose Turkish delight.
- Favorite alcoholic drink, champagne; favorite non-alcoholic drink, sherbet (the turkish/ottoman kind, not the watery ice kind).
- Juste’s parents (Victor and Diana) are alive and well and live on a nice townhouse in Cluj-Napoca, Transylvania. Juste, however, prefers to live with his grandparents on the Wallachian countryside.
- Speaking of country, he thrives there, despite having a taste for fancy things. He does have impeccable manners and could be a star of Society, but he finds all the unspoken rules too stifling. He’s a spirited young gentleman, fond of exploring every hidden nook and cranny of the Belmont lands.
- Juste’s skin is very delicate, so he only stays outside at high noon when he absolutely has the need to. He prefers to train with the whip at early morning and late afternoon for this reason.
- He trains with the Vampire Killer almost every day, except for Sundays (attending mass, also talking with the priests about jobs) and Mondays (Moon Day, when he focus on only magic).
- His mother is a witch from the Belnades clan, quite powerful, but focuses in more mundane magic instead of flashy offensive magic. She’s the youngest of six daughters, so even if Juste is an only child, there was no pressure for her to have a female heir. In fact, Juste’s pregnancy was very taxing on her body even with all the health and good luck spells; she ended up infertile after his birth. If not for magic, there is a good chance neither would have survived.
- Still about his Belnades blood, his magic is unusually strong for a male witch; in fact, for the Belnades, he’s considered bigender, and in the clan hierarchy, he’s above all the men but below all the women. However, he is not a Belnades heir, but a Belmont, so he was raised to be closer to his father and grandfather’s side and identifies himself as male, his bigender status is more ritualistic/spiritual when partaking on his mother’s family ceremonies.

(Canon setting) Romania, 18th century. A bookish young man has been chosen to be the next wielder of the family heirloom, the Vampire Killer whip. Despite the objections of his extended family, that believed he did not have the choleric, manly temperament of previous wielders, Juste Belmont has been trained by his beloved grandfather, Simon Belmont, who saw the potential in him, and Diana Belmont, née Belnades, his mother, who has teached him the magical ways of her clan, being the first witness of his son’s immense magical power.
As his physical traning partner, Maxim Kischine, and his childhood friend, Lydie Erlanger, went missing just after he was formally given the title of Vampire Hunter, Juste ventured into Castlevania, despite the prophecy saying that it was half a century too early for Dracula’s ressurrection, in search of his friends. He succeeded at the age of eighteen, being the second youngest Belmont (after Sonia) to storm Castlevania successfully.
Back to the Belmont Manor, Juste does not know what to do of his life. Sure, he’s expected to marry and have children, but he believes he’s still a tad too young for that. For now, he immerses himself on his studies, continues his whip training and enjoys the beautiful Romanian countryside with his beloved friends.
Dracula X (Rondo of Blood, Symphony of the Night, Nocturne of Recollection)

Late 18th century. Juste, now an elder, in a Christian marriage with Lydie and a Pagan handfasting ceremony with Lydie and Maxim, worries about his youngest son and current user of the Vampire Killer, Richter, who’s destined to face Dracula on his hundred-year reincarnation cycle. His boy is strong and managed to inherit a fair bit of magic for a male quarter-blood, but unfortunately not very academically inclined, and Dracula is a cunning man. He still loves him very much, though.
He has five more children (not all of them from blood, some are biologically Maxim’s), all daughters and older than Richter. The eldest, Artemis, is the one with strongest magic and lives with her witch grandmother and is in the line to be the leader of the Belnades clan, but not in a very high position. Some of the others married, and the two youngest ladies are still single and live at home. Juste actually dislikes that he had to pass the whip for a son that came relatively late in his life, but since at the time daughters would be part of their husband’s families after marriage, he was afraid the whip would consider that the lineage ended after a daughter’s child.
While he aged quite gracefully, he feels that he, even in good health, is too old for physical training and now only practices magic. He looks like a stereotypical wizard, with his still long, full hair, long robes, heavy spectacles, but no beard, which he always disliked.
He’s also very fond of his adorable adopted daughter (or grand-daughter), Maria Renard, and raises her in the more carefree manner of the Belmonts, with plenty of time for riding, exercise, and bonding with her celestial beasts.
Juste still loves interior design. He feels that the fashionable Neoclassical style meshes very well with his studious, contemplative nature, and he ordered a huge custom-made set for his house, and…
HE DOESN’T BELIEVE THAT DRACULA SET FIRE ON THE ENTIRE VILLAGE, INCLUDING HIS HOUSE. RICHTER, WHERE ARE YOU? COME BACK!
Incubus

Status: Open
(Turned Incubus) After some Harmony of Despair mega-crossover shenanigans, the clan failed and all the family was kept captive by Dracula at a floating tower, but not before being turned to concubi and working as harem boys and girls.
As an incubus, Juste has a higher sex drive and is much more attuned to his sensual, hedonist side. However, he’s still a good man and will not feed from the unwilling and not feed to death - he can get reasonable nourishment from being affectionate in general. But he’s much more flirty, handsy and decadent than the usual. It’s not a bad life, really, since Dracula rarely visits the harem, not every call is a sex call, Juste has the time to practice the arts, and his chambers and clothes are beautiful. The only real problem is the master.
Also, he’s much more addicted to roses in incubus form. Wears a rose crown all the time, has a huge rose cushion in his room that he loves to sit on, will add rose scent to almost everything, etc. The concubi custom of adorning their bodies with flowers was quite welcome.

Still very much a fan of reading, tea, pastries, fashion and flirting, but don’t be fooled: all the ballet he practiced and all the furniture he hailed made him very strong. Never call this sorta-feminine man slurs.
For sports and physical activities, Juste, no matter his age would be more inclined to something with choreographic elements, but requiring lots of strength and skill, like ballet, cheerleading and ice skating.
